2006-2007 - Top 25 Salaries

The 2006–07 NHL season saw the Anaheim Ducks dominate, combining veteran grit and elite defense. Led by Chris Pronger and Scott Niedermayer, the Ducks defeated Ottawa to become the first California team to win the Cup. Sidney Crosby became the youngest player to win the Art Ross Trophy at age 19. Scoring remained high, and the league continued to move away from the clutching-and-grabbing style of the previous decade.
