Wayne Gretzky - Mark Messier - Keith Tkachuk

The Colorado Avalanche, freshly moved from Québec and with Patrick Roy as goalie, won the Stanley Cup. Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr led the NHL, first and second respectively, in goals and points.
